Swaggy's Top Stonks
Welcome newcomers to Swaggy's Top Stonks and thank you for subscribing.
The Swaggy letter has new improvements coming. What we’ll be adding (to the website and the newsletter)?
Enhancements to the Theta Gang section: Scan popular retail stocks and sort them by 30-day average CALL/PUT IV to see where the highest returns are (if you an option seller).
Drill down to a ticker to see the stock’s historical change in IV, as well as overlay CALL/PUT volume traded by day to see how options might be moving the stock price.
Unusual Options Activity: Find unusually large trades in individual names and compare it to movements in the stock price.
I’ll be giving out 5 free 1-month subscriptions to the premium Swaggy letter near the end of this month. Just respond to this email with something like “count me in”, “free premium” or literally anything like “hi dear” and I’ll get you in the draw.
I’ll also be giving out one (1) free $50 gift card to any U.S-based retailer or restaurant (as long as e-gift cards are available and it’s not an 18+ required or NSFW retailer).
The draw for it will be done at the end of the month, so send me some of those reply entries ASAP.

Most Mentioned Retail Stocks
It was a good month for popular retail stocks with the majority having positive returns. The chart is sorted by total mentions for June, and also includes:
Dividend Yield (%)
P/E Ratio
1-month stock performance
Top Dividend Names: JEPI, SCHD, VTI, VOO, MSFT.
Highest P/E Names (not necessarily good): AMD, AMZN, NVDA, TSLA
Most Mentioned Stocks by the “Meme-Stock” Crowd
Trending stocks on WallStreetBets this month were no different, with an average return of +12% for the month of June. Here’s the full list sorted by total mentions, and also includes:
P/E ratio
Price/Sales ratio
1-month share price performance
Theta-Gang: A preview of what is to come.
For option sellers looking to browse a catalog of stocks that are popular with retail traders, look no further. We’ll be adding this section to the website where you can see a stock’s share price overlaid against average Implied Volatility (IV) for options, and the call/put volume traded for each day.
In this chart we can clearly see the average IV, and in a sense ‘volatility’, has been clearly on the way down as share price has been rocketing upwards. Selling a cash-secured-put in this environment may not be favorable when looking back at historical IV.
